Management

design and dev teams

Seven legal entities, development teams split between them, and a new site launching every few weeks. Nobody had the full picture, so I ended up being the one who did. I talk to the founders and to every technical team, and I built the team's knowledge base so the context stops depending on whether I am available.

  • Direct line to the founders

I sit between the founders and the technical teams. Decisions come down through me, and what is actually happening on the ground goes back up.

  • The team's second brain

A knowledge base wired to agents, designed and deployed by me. It holds project state, standards and past decisions, drafts the PRDs, and the team reads it without going through me.

  • Tools and rituals

Weekly design reviews, per-product syncs, internal tooling. When something stops circulating between two teams, I set up the meeting or the tool that gets it moving again.

  • Hiring and follow-up

Sourcing, interviews, judging fit, and the follow-up once someone has actually started.

  • Difficult decisions

Some of the calls are about people rather than planning. I have had to make those too.

  • Roadmap, standards, delivery

Per-site prioritisation, one shared UX baseline, QA and sign-off before every release.

Design system

Design lead, then Head of Product · Malta web group, 2023 to now

The Core: one design system, fifteen brands

  • Design systems
  • Design tokens
  • Component library
  • Figma at scale
  • Governance

The group launches consumer acquisition sites at a high tempo. Before the system, every new site rebuilt the same funnel pieces from scratch: slow launches, inconsistent UX, and bugs fixed in one place that survived in five others.

I designed and shipped The Core, a design system with its component library, published as an npm package that carries the front-end components and their back-end logic together. New sites assemble from it instead of rebuilding. I set the governance: what enters the system, what stays local to a brand, and who decides.

Payment flows that convert, in regulated markets

  • PSD2 / 3DS
  • Checkout UX
  • Regulated markets
  • Multi-market
  • Banking

At Accor I redesigned booking and payment flows, web and app, and introduced PSD2-compliant 3DS journeys across international markets, inside a cross-brand design system serving 5,000+ hotels. The redesigned funnel reached 3.7% conversion with 34% traffic growth on 3M ad views.

At Idean, Capgemini's design arm, I designed core banking features for LCL: mortgage tracking, money transfers, budgeting. High-risk UX, where clarity and microcopy are the security layer. At Horizon Web I now run checkout A/B tests and multi-market payment optimization across the portfolio.

I like working under those rules. You cannot bend them, so the only room left to improve anything is the design itself.

Acquisition products, end to end

  • CRO
  • Acquisition funnels
  • A/B testing
  • Pricing & checkout
  • Subscription flows

On paid traffic, the funnel decides whether the product makes money. I designed and supervised a portfolio of consumer products from concept to production: an ID photo service, PDF tools, a vehicle-history check, a reverse directory, an online check-in, an IQ test.

Landing pages, pricing pages, subscription flows, checkout. All of it iterated on live traffic against real ad spend, so a lost percent of conversion showed up in the monthly numbers.

The ID photo product became the group's biggest success. On the documents product, a redesigned form converted 8.2% form-to-paid in its launch week.

AI systems

Synarchy OS, my operating system of agents

My own problem: more projects than time, and a brain that starts more than it finishes. So I built one for myself. A personal knowledge vault wired to a fleet of AI agents that run on schedule: a watch agent that reads the AI news every day and briefs me on what matters to my projects, a weekly agent that rewrites my operational brief every Sunday, a content pipeline that writes and publishes three times a week.

It runs whether I show up or not. So does this site.
